Field Sales PWA for a Flooring Retailer

Flooring Retailer & Installer (Anonymized)

By Michael Oskola, Founder & AI Automation Architect · Engagement in progress — as of 2026

An offline-first PWA that replaces a flooring retailer's mobile CRM experience for a 12-person field sales team. The system now runs against 14,000+ live deals and 16,000+ contacts, with three delivery phases already shipped and paid — and the build is still going.

What was the problem?

The client's 12-person field sales team worked entirely inside their CRM's mobile web view — the only way reps could see deals, contacts and quotes while standing in a customer's home. That mobile experience wasn't built for the field. It was slow and hard to navigate on a phone, and it stopped working whenever a signal dropped. Reps needed a way to keep working on-site instead of a second system stacked on top of the CRM they already had.

How did Retailbox solve it?

We built an offline-first Progressive Web App that stores data on the device, so a rep with no signal can keep quoting and updating a job. It sits on top of the client's existing GoHighLevel CRM via OAuth2 — a field-ready layer, not a replacement. It also connects the supplier EDI feeds the team needs for live pricing and ordering, a price-book and calculator for on-the-spot quotes, and job/order tracking. Delivery has run in phases: Phase 3 shipped all 16 scoped items, Phase 4 closed, and Phase 5 (EDI integration, the price-book tool, order tracking, automated follow-ups and a desktop kanban view) is delivered and verified in production. New integrations and support work have continued past Phase 5; this is an active build, not a closed project.

What were the results?

  • Phase 3 shipped all 16 scoped items (16 of 16)
  • Phases 3 and 4 closed at $30,670 paid; Phase 5 closed separately at $19,550 paid in full — roughly $50,220 delivered and paid across the three phases (that total is our own sum of those two cited figures, not one number from a single source)
  • Running against 14,000+ deals and 16,000+ contacts already live in the CRM
  • Not measured: time saved per rep, adoption rate, or before/after productivity. The team hasn't quantified what the mobile fix is worth yet, so we're not claiming a number.
